In mid-June the 2021 APPEA Conference was held in Perth, the first APPEA Conference since 2019 and probably the largest physical conference to be held in Australia since the start of the pandemic. It was a tribute to APPEA that they successfully ran the conference and it was great to catch up with many friends. In many ways it was quite different from traditional APPEA conferences, being dominated by climate, hydrogen and CCUS. I penned a few reflections, which can be downloaded below.
