The ABS trade statistics that came out last Thursday showed record LNG export revenue of A$4.9 billion in September, as higher oil prices and LNG spot prices fed into export revenue.
We estimate that the results for October are even better, with shipments from Australian projects of a record 7.23 million tonnes (up from 7.0 million tonnes in September) and estimated revenue of A$5.21 billion for the month. October shipments were higher from both Gladstone and the west coast projects. More details coming up in our October Australian LNG Monthly.
